Spicy Poha Cutlet

Poha Cutlet is a very tasty and crispy snack which is easy to make. If you are a simple vegetable poha lover then you should also try this recipe. You would love this.

Simple ingredients and simple recipe – Poha Cutlet.

Ingredients : –

  • Poha – 200 gms
  • Boilded Mashed Potatoes  – 4
  • Capsicum (finely chopped) – 1
  • Tomato (finely chopped) – 2
  • Green Chilli (finely chopped) – 2
  • Carrot (finely chopped) – 1 (if available or any other vegetables you have, you can add)
  • Red Chilli Powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Heeng (Asafoetida) Powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp (according to taste)
  • Coriander Leaves (finely chopped) – 1 tsp
  • Sooji (Semolina) – 1/3 tsp
  • Oil (to fry) – 2 to 3 tbsp

 

Recipe : –

  1. Soak the poha for 2-3 minutes only, rinse and drain water but don’t let it dry too much. Poha should be mashable.
  2. Now take a bowl and add soaked poha, sooji and mashed potatoes and all the veggies and spices into it and mix it very well, sprinkle little water if you feel its too dry.
  3. Now take a small amount of dough (that you’ve made) and give any shape or size according to your choice.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the cutlets till it gets brown and crispy.
  5. Serve the Poha Cutlet with tomato sauce or any other sauce you have.

Note : You can also use cornflour in Poha Cutlet.
